District Coordinators, Health and Nutrition Program (3 posts)
Overall responsibility: To coordinate and supervise implementation of MNCH-N Program at District level
Tasks include
- Develop quality annual, quarterly and monthly work plans and budgets
- Oversee the implementation of MNCH-N Program activities at the District level
- Provide overall management of Program resources
- Support District health officials (partner staff)
- Ensure monitoring of Program activities and support the Health Management Information System (HMIS)
Skills, qualification and experience requirements
- Medical doctor with 6 years training certificate is essential
- At least 3 year experiences in Primary Health Care program management especially on MCH and nutrition
- Good knowledge of MoH Health Management Information System
- Knowledge of basic epidemiology including data collection methods, analysis and interpretation
- Familiar with MoH MNCH-N strategy
- Be able to coach/train District health staff
- Experience in working with an international organization preferred
- Experience in participatory community development and community animation preferred
- Lao nationality
- Fluent pasa Lao.
- Knowledge of English and ethnic group languages preferred
Location: Positions based in Pha Oudom District, Pak Tha District and Meung District
